Darn I just wrote up a big ol' work-around but then realized this isn't even a problem for me, I can set map.enabled true or false and it gives me the desired behavior (I did so in Flex and bound the map enabled property to a check box, and it works, that is grays out and mouse events don't affect it). If you're continuing to experience this issue could you explain what version of the maps swc your using are you running out of Flash or building a Flex project and any info on the current behavior (if any) that would be helpful in finding an answer. I'm on the flex 1.18 swc.
