This should work: setChildIndex(theObjectYouWantOnTopOfEverything, numChildren - 1); or parentOfBothObjects.setChildIndex(theObjectYouWantOnTopOfEverything, parentOfBothObjects.numChildren - 1); You would have to call this after your map gets drawn of course.
