So Google Translate Element seems to break my google map flex application. I'm currently using the Ajax Bridge to interface javascript with my flash application, and this bridge essentially breaks when Google Translate element is fired.
I used a setTimeout to determine that at the time the Google Translate Element is created, the flash widget is reloaded, or at least it fires the google maps onmapready event for a second time. It doesn't reload like this in other browsers. This reload essentially breaks the ajax bridge, preventing any further javascript commands from talking to the swf. Again, this only occurs in Firefox. No Javascript errors are produced. Has anyone run into this problem? The google translate element I am refering to can be found here. http://translate.google.com/translate_tools -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
