I believe you're in the wrong place to a small degree, the flash version of 
google maps likely won't work on iOS devices until flash itself does (if 
ever) so you'll need to look into the javascript maps forums, you'll likely 
need to use that as the basis.  Furthermore no one from what I've seen has 
had great success with using google maps in the context of AIR (export for 
iOS in this case doesn't work because the maps swc loads an external swf 
with actionscript bytecode that needs to run in the flash player) even 
outside of iOS it seems there's some problems with the initial loading time, 
luckily Android is coming from Google as well so the native maps support is 
better than flash IMHO.
