Why dont you go through the easier way? Try this. If your plane is an
square or circle it will work fine. First get the distance _sizePlane1
= naveCenter1.distanceFrom(anySquareSideFromNave1) for both planes.
Next each time any of the planes move you do  _distanceaFromPlanes =
naveCenter1.distanceFrom(naveCenter2). If (_distanceFromPlanes <=
_sizePlane1 + _ sizePlane2) {trace("cabooom")}
