Please post a link for the location to get the code you're trying to run. Also not that it's particularly pertinent to your current issue but if there's no reason for you to need to use Flex 3.2 I'd suggest upgrading to at least 4.0 and taking advantage of the new separation of the layouts from the rest of the UI component definition among the other improvements that have been made in the Flex framework itself. If you're just learning now it's probably best to start with learning the new way to do things since in a lot of ways the old method of achieving custom layouts of components and skinning in Flex 3 was not so great and has vastly improved.
