You can try out this Native Extension which has been recently uploaded for AIR on iOS http://code.google.com/p/air-maps-ane/ . It uses the map view that is provided by coca libraries in iOS. It is very simple to use since you dont need any API key etc to show map in your application. Currently this library has some basic functionality but it can be easily extended to support all features that exist in Google Flash APIs.
I am working on Android counterpart but currently facing some technical issues :(. Will update here when it is available. Let me know if you need any help in using it.
