I think you've got cause an effect back to front. The map tiles of North America and Europe are copyright TeleAtlas. The map tiles of Ghana and nearby offshore regions, including location (0,0), are copyright Europa Technologies.
So if your geocode attempt, which we can't see because you do it on the server, happens to fail you end up at a Europa Technologies location. If an American address succeeds, you end up at a location that has map tiles provided by TeleAtlas. To prove this, try geocoding "Accra" when your geocoding is working. The geocoding works and the copyright is Europa Technolgies. -- http://econym.googlepages.com/index.htm The Blackpool Community Church Javascript Team --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
