Greetings, I'm having trouble mapping some UK addresses which contain building names, or certain building numbers.
For example the following address returns a null point; Bonhill House 1-3 Bonhill Street London EC2A 4BX UK geocoder.getLatLng( 'Bonhill House 1-3 Bonhill Street London EC2A 4BX UK' , renderMarkerAndCachePoint ); However if I omit the building name and '1-3 Bonhill Street London EC2A 4BX UK' is specified, I get the correct result. The problem is that it is difficult to determine which field of the whole address is actually the building name (and therefore remove it from the lookup). In the application the address is defined in different fields, which are: addressLineOne, addressLineTwo, addressCity, addressCounty, addressPostcode, addressCountry. addrLineOne and addrLineTwo are rather vague, and the user may put a building name in either one, if at all! I tried omitting both fields from the lookup, and just used the city, county and postcode only, however this returned inaccurate results in too many cases. I'm wondering if any of the Javascript/mapper gurus might have a good strategy for dealing with this? The accuracy of the marker is quite important for the app, therefore we want to include the street / building number wherever possible, but it would be acceptable to say fall back on the postcode if a particular address cannot be found.
