I had help. There's an automatic cutoff that kills googlepages subdomains that exceed a certain bandwidth. When too many people viewed my pages a while ago, some nice guys at Google arranged for bandwidth quota to be doubled. Any other subdomain that doesn't have such an arrangement will hit their quota before catching me up. The number 2 subdomain is some sort of special super-subdomain. There is no actual com-a.googlepages.com only sub-subdomains like greatlakebengals.com-a.googlepages.com and suehawks.com-a.googlepages.com. The number 3 subdomain doesn't appear to be a normal subdomain either.
