It isn't, but it's not quite that simple either. The code has
queryURL = '/routes/'+ id +'/markers/new';
GDownloadUrl(queryURL, function(data, responseCode) { ...

GDownloadUrl not is intended to be used like that. So without actually
running the page and seeing what it's likely you want to do, and
what's actually happening, it's not really possible to advise. A link
is requested here because of reasons 2, 3 and 6 at the bottom of the
posting guidelines.
