Get directions from a few meters before the rectangle to a few meters after it. Then examine the returned polyline to determine the angle on a cartesian coordinate system. The angle of the road A is given by: tan A = opposite/adjacent tan A = deltaLatitude/deltaLongitude A = atan(deltaLatitude/deltaLongitude) The angle has zero degrees at 3 o'clock and it increases couterclockwise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigonometric_function -- Marcelo - http://maps.forum.nu -- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
