I have a database of markers that get plotted on a map. I want to be able to jump to another location by entering a city and state into a search box. I've already tried using the Googlebar but it returns results from Google local search. I simply want to have the map re- center at the location that was entered in the search box.
The only example I've seen of this was created by Bret Taylor and it is copyrighted. I was wondering if there is a freely available version of this type of search control out there. I've heard mention of using a Gcontrol to jump to other locations on a map but haven't seen any tutorials out there. Anyone have any suggestions? -Dan --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
