You probably ought to talk to your network/firewall administrators to block types of content to provide a better granularity than just source address. You could try any maps.google.* address, but you should be aware of The Australian Problem if you choose .co.au (http://groups.google.com/ group/Google-Maps-API/browse_thread/thread/8cc99372981b6f7d), and if your admins are worth their salt they will have blocked all maps.google.* addresses already.
