My map application is not working in IE8 Beta 2. I am having similar
issues to what I see using one of the GMap examples. I chose to
provide a link to the example because my app supports multiple map
APIs (Google, Virtual Earth, Yahoo, MapQuest) and I have an
abstraction layer that complicates debugging the code for any specific
API.

http://gmaps-utility-library.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/labeledmarker/release/examples/manhattan/index.html

If you use IE8 and browse to the map on that page you'll notice some
issues:

#1 The zoom and pan control isn't working properly: no response to
clicking the arrows to pan and clicking the +/- to zoom.

#2 Map position issues: click on the sidebar entry "Alphabet City".
That will work properly: the marker window will open. Next, click on
the sidebar entry "Battery Park". That will not work properly. The
marker window will open in what looks like the right place, but
various other content will be overlaid on the map such that most of
the map is no longer visible.

My app has a similar issue that I could not recreate using the example
above but it is similar to #2: when opening a marker window when one
is already open, the map content shifts to the right.

I know IE8 is a beta, but I figured I'd report the issues anyway.
Should I report any further issues with IE8 Beta 2, or is Google going
to wait for the next beta, or ?

Thanks.
