Thanks, that was very helpful and exactly what I was
looking for.  I've a follow on question, which I didn't
see covered:

At the top left of the map itself there's a blue chevron (a
doubled 'less than' sign) to show more map horizontally by
supressing the text on the left.  Is there a parameter to
encode for that so that I get the expanded view straight
off the bat?

To take a specific example, in the following map, it would
be important for the audience to also see Kaprun (at the
bottom left) for which that expansion chevron should be
clicked.
