We generate KML/KMZ files based on our site database and host the resulting files on an https website. Currently in both maps.google.com and Google Earth, viewing a KML/KMZ does not work when the URL is https. I see that from the GoogleAPI documentation that https: is not supported by the GGeoXML API.
My question is that if we purchase an enterprise license, would KML/ KMZ files be viewable over an https connection by simply navigating to http://maps.google.com and typing my URL (ex... https://www.mydomain.com/mykml.kml) into the search box? Im guessing not, but Im looking for other options on how I can keep my KML/KMZ private with an Enterprise license yet still make them viewable to 'authorized' users.
