We generate KML/KMZ files based on our site database and host the
resulting files on an https website. Currently in both maps.google.com
and Google Earth, viewing a KML/KMZ does not work when the URL is
https. I see that from the GoogleAPI documentation that https: is not
supported by the GGeoXML API.

My question is that if we purchase an enterprise license, would KML/
KMZ files be viewable over an https connection by simply navigating to
http://maps.google.com and typing my URL (ex...
https://www.mydomain.com/mykml.kml)
into the search box?

Im guessing not, but Im looking for other options on how I can keep my
KML/KMZ private with an Enterprise license yet still make them
viewable to 'authorized' users. I can control what users can access
the physical files over my https but Im guessing that Google Earth and
maps.google.com will just not be able to show them if they are hosted
via https??

thank you....
