It means that:
1. "Maps API geocoder" is an application to use only to obtain Google
Maps?
or "points" is refered to "markers" and so:
2. "Maps API geocoder" can be used only to display "markers" provided
embedded with the map images?

For example:
I can insert my markers in the map without need of further
authorization by Google?
I can place on the map (without cover, remove or alter any copyright,
trademark or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on
Google services) a transparent image with my own markers in solid, or
other icon images?
