I run a small start-up recruitment company based in Barcelona Spain. I am relatively new to google maps and I recently came across an interesting use in http://jobsonmap.com I have a few hopefully simple to answer questions and would really appreciate an experts feedback on this type of application. Is anyone at liberty to be able to develop an application like this? How is the data stored (in what kind of database) Is there a way to customise and search this database directly? Is it possible to drag and drop the data displayed on the screen and will this automatically update the databse? Is a new application patentable?
