Yes, I have and found this http://econym.googlepages.com/example_steps.htm
. It is almost what I want, but I don't need the routing infos
underneath, but I would like to have further infos to each point
directly on the map by clicking on the marker. further more it should
be zoomable. right now, there are no "zoom controls" as usual and I
don't know how to get rid of the routing information, add the extra
infos and the zoom controls to it

I tried that, but I am a German resident and adresses containg german
umlauts ÜÄÖß wont work. I looked in which format I have to change the
input but could find something saying what to do with non ASCI
letters.
