How you get the data to the internet is one thing, how you collect it for display on a Google map is another. Can't help you with the first as you don't indicate anything about the technology involved, but one source of that information would be the web site of the instrument collecting the data. To display a progressive trail on a Google map would involve AJAX, you might search that term for details.
One note, if what you're tracking is anything non-biological, it would be a violation of the TOU to do so.
