Geocoding via javascript works fine without issue on my shared host
(since it's client side).
this code
1 <?php
2
3 $test = "http://maps.google.com/maps/geo?
q=buffalo&output=xml&key=ABQIAAAAXva5RhIe3EUH7hIP98sh4RTu2c_oPNm1xjcn0pbxbwD1PDCAhBTLHYYOSCg65a9QbpZVLTv3_Wv8Ww&oe=utf-8";
4 $response = simplexml_load_file($test) or die("argh");
5 echo "<pre>";
6 var_dump($response);
7 ?>
works fine at my workplace.
about a week ago, on my shared host, this worked fine!! (php
geocoding)
as of two days ago, on my shared host, it is failing. (php geocoding)
my host claims they did not install/update anything, and it is
google's issue. my key is still active. how do i know if google
blocked an IP?
i'm seriously clawing my eyes out :(
