In order to know where a click occurs, you'll either need to download a database of country polygons or use a service to determine this. I believe geonames.org has a reverse geocoder that will give the country and closest city. Check their site for information. You can find country boundary polygons for free from several sources, try searching Google for that information. Couple that with a good spatially aware database engine like Postgres and you can create your own service.
