Note: API v2.131a is not yet live. It's not a good idea to use pre-
release versions for live sites.

   GLayer.prototype.initialized
   GLayer.prototype.isHidden()
   GLayer.prototype.redraw()

   GLayer.prototype.show()
   GTrafficOverlay.prototype.getKmlAsync()
   GScreenOverlay.prototype.getKmlAsync()

New static methods

   GLayer.addInitializer()

New loader parameters

   tile_override

The tile_override mechanism allows the loader to tell the main API
code to use a different set of URLs for tiles for a small area. I
guess that might allow fresh imagery for disaster areas to be popped
in quickly without having to go through the whole process of
generating an entire worldwide tile release.

GLayer() might possibly make Wiki, Panoramio and YouTube layers
available under the API (something like you get with the [More] button
on maps.google.com).

I've not been able to examine the syntax of GLayer()
or .getKmlAsync(), since v2.131a doesn't work with the current API
loader code. GJsLoaderInit had something to do with the loading of
external modules, and whatever mechanism is supposed to replace it
isn't there yet,s o none of the features that are implemented in
external modules work. These days that's just about everything.
