I managed to see the page before it vanished.

That is (was) a full web page with even <script> in it. You can load
html tagged contents to info window but a full web page should be
fetched using <iframe>.
There is an alternative GDownloadUrl() technique in Mike William's
examples which could suit well in this case.

A single file contains contents of all the info windows.
