Creating a polygon fromEncoded is quite different at one point I was
able to
overwrite the base GPolygon class to get mouseover events (same thing
needed
for doing the alternate style.. you need a reference to the base svg/
vml element).
Currently to duplicate what i was doing with the encoded polys
you would have to make sure googles GPolygon modules had
loaded then over-write there methods with ones similar to Bills....

In other words the attempt is not for the feint at heart.
