OK hints.

Each of the overlays that an instance of egeoxml creates...
to tell you precisely I would have to look at egeoxmls excellent
documentation.. I do recall that the overlays created in egeoxml
are stored in several arrays under that instance ... so you
can iterate through each of those and call hide and show on
the actual overlays...

If there is a quick hide and show method already available
I am sure its documented.
