Hmm. That's odd. If I put those strings into Google's page at http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/polylineutility.html I get an L-shaped building (note that the \\ needs to be just \ inside a textbox). BUT I've just noticed that the ] in the string is turned into [ in that page. That's REALLY odd.
