Hi all,

I have read loads of post about people trying to convert post codes to
their longitude and latitude coordinates (in the UK) and the problems
they have with the royal mail owning the copyright on these, with them
just releasing the first part to pinpoint the area (i.e. town).

I was just wondering if it is possible to go the other way and get the
town or city etc from a given longitude and latitude? Even if it is
possible to convert the co-ordinates to the first part of a post code
(the free part), I have a table which will match these to the town/
city

Cheers

John
