Dear all, I would appreciate your thoughts on the following issue:
I created a page that uses Google Maps and Multibox (a lightbox relative). You specify a search radius, a zip code and one or more categories. The results are shown both as markers on the map and in a sidebar. When you click on either of them, an info window opens with the link to a video (among other things). When you click on this link, a Multibox is supposed to overlay and display the video. Now all of this is basically working, but with one exception: when the info window is open, the Multibox is not being launched after the FIRST click on the link, but after the SECOND one; that does not sound like a problem, but obivously "something" is happening after the first click and I cannot figure out what it is. You can see the effect in Firefox like this: - after the first click on the launch image the link is "focussed" (or however you want to put it), as it is put in a thin border - after the second click Multibox is launched. You can see the effect in Safari like this: - after the first click on the launch image something is "re-loading", as you can see in the location bar. - after the second click Multibox is launched. So for you to check it out, here is the link and the procedure to get there: 1. go to http://www.erstmalkucken.com/travenueFV12.html 2. enter the zip 26135, specify a radius of 20 and search (click on "Los gehts") 3. click on the graphic "Lehren & Lernen" in the lower right. Now some markers appear. 4. click any of the markers; an info window will pop up as usual. Now comes the moment: 5. click on the small graphic inside the Info Window once. The weird "something" happens. 6. click on the small graphic again. Now Multibox launches as it should. I have the feeling that it has to do something with z-indices and/or conflicts between rivalling javascripts, but as I said - I cannot figure out what is going on ... Any thoughts or comments? Thank you so much in advance!
