Hello Everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to help me with my question.

I work for Experience Works, a non-profit organization that is
dedicated to assist low-income seniors, many with multiple barriers to
employment, get the training they need to find good jobs in their
local communities.

We have training centers in many counties in over 30 states but it's
technically impossible to find them through our website (http://
www.experienceworks.org, look on the left side where it says for
seniors). So my main goal is to improve this by using google Maps API.
I want to create marker for every training center we have. Then users
will search for their county and state and will show results of all
the closest training centers not just the one in their county. The
closest thing we have to map is this:
http://ew.convio.net/site/PageServer?pagename=Find_An_Office_Home
and it just sucks!

The reason why we need to improve this is because if there isn't a
training center in your county then it returns ZERO results, although
there could be one in the next town. I spent almost 30 minutes trying
to find just one center. I don't even want to think about how
frustrated some seniors would get using this.

Now that you have some background on the project ahead let me tell you
about what i know.
Im basic with Javascript, I understand most of the code, I have plenty
of resources to review and I have no problem looking through the
reference guide online for Google Maps API. I just need some guidance
as to how approach this goal.

So is it possible to upload some kind of datatable with addresses
(there is a lot of them and finding the coordinates for each one could
take ages), then display them as markers on our customized map. Then
if you click on the center, like in Google maps, you get information
like phone number address and all of that.

Thank you so much for your help. Trust me you will be making a
difference in the life of many seniors.

Kevin
