Hello, All. Here's a link to the application, SPOT Trip Manager:
http://jasonjonas.org/spot For those users using IE7 the vast majority of trips can be viewed just fine, but some users are experiencing issues viewing some trips. This one is problematic for most: http://jasonjonas.org/spot/tripViewer.do?id=132 The error message that appears is a connection error indicating IE cannot connect to the server, but I believe that error is bogus. When I tested this in IE7 I was able to open a number of trips without error, but received the same connection error when opening trip 132. One user posted this warning from IE... http://jasonjonas.com/images/cookie-error.png So I modified the privacy policy to accept all cookies and have yet to experience the connection issue again and I'm able to view all trips. I had users try every browser including Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome and even the new Google Android device and no issues were reported. While I think the issue is with 3rd party cookies and some IE-ism, ultimately I don't know for sure. If it's something I can fix on my side, I will. Has anyone experienced similar issues with their applications and IE and, if so, what's the real fix? Thanks.
