I got a new key and it was still not working. But I found out a solution. If we change the file type from xhtml to html, it works perfectly. However, for our application, we need to stick to xhtml page. If we put the code in xhtml page, we get the error 'GMap2' not defined in javascript console. I googled the problem, and run into this forum. http://groups.google.com.gi/group/Google-Maps-API/browse_thread/thread/139dddaa9f726c1b/
Since the solution was from 2006, I'm wondering if you have figured out a work around solution other that what is being suggested on the link.
