Hi, I am relatively new to KML and API and wanted to know if I need API for a porject I am doing at work.
The project is relatively simple...I have points in GIS that I exported to Google Earth and brought into Google Maps (My Maps) and now want a host to post the data (as a link) on their website. I know I don't need API for this and it's prefectly legal and free to do but was wondering if there are any benefits of obtaining an API key to do this. Any advice would be awesome, thanks!
