I don't understand the question. You add a marker to a static map by including the type of marker and its location in the URL of the map image. If you want to superimpose a marker on to a static map image, that's a completely different question. You can do that with DHTML/CSS and a marker image: there are some resources for markers at http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-API/web/examples-tutorials-custom-icons-for-markers; http://econym.org.uk/gmap/geicons.htm; http://econym.org.uk/gmap/chartpins.htm; http://mapki.com/wiki/Available_Images and http://mapki.com/wiki/Icon_Image_Sets Andrew --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
