hi guys,

i am merv from malaysia. i am trying to embed the google maps into my
web application. i understand that i am suppose to geocode the my
address into latitude and longitude orientation.

so my question here, can i geocode an address (e.g. my favourite
shopping mall) by just typing the address? or do i have to provide the
lattitude and longitude of the location as well?

secondly, i understand that reverse geocode means providing the
lattitude and longitude for conversion into physical address on the
map. based on my first question, if i were to provide the longitude
and lattitude, wouldnt geocode and reverse geo code be the same?

looking forward to have the clearer picture from all of you regarding
those matter. I would like to thank you in advance.

thanks and regards,
mervin
