Version 1 was shut down on 8 November 2006 according to the Mapki; the G_MAP_TYPE symbols were turned off on 28 October 2008. Even though that's nearly two years later, it would have been nice to have had some information that that was going to happen. One for Pamela to take back to the Changelog documenters, I think.
