I'm so terribly sorry to have wasted a few seconds of your time in reading an irrelevant post. I'm not at all sorry about you wasting a minute in responding to it, that was your own choice. As you didn't describe what you're trying to acheive, it was difficult to tell what other avenues you might have considered and already dismissed. Though I'm not at all sure why you think determining a zoom level for any bounds at the browser has anything to do with loading map tiles.
