Ah, chrome... is a piece of its own... But with there 4 % market pie 
they already have been grounded right before they've started... Not 
worth to spend too much efforts today, I think. BTW: Symbian's S60 
browser has a float but, which makes maps completely useless...

Yes, but this "wait" is not in my hands and may fail, as we know :) My 
point was, that the events don't really reflect the results of a 
communication (at least not in IE with onreadystatechange). And this has 
been proofed, not at last by your samples.
