You only add unknownhtml to the sidebar when you have a marker with
lat and lng, therefore the last update of the sidebar is when the last
marker with lat/lng occurs.
You need to move these lines outside the loop:
// put the assembled side_bar_html contents into the side_bar div
document.getElementById("side_bar").innerHTML ... etc
document.getElementById("unknown").innerHTML ... etc
