Well I suppose that the GMapType method getTextColor does what it says on the tin - returns a colour that should show up well as TEXT on the map.
I suggest either the API adds a getDrawingColor method to GMapType or changes getTextColor to return an #RRGGBB value instead of a named colour. BTW I came across this issue when fixing up my OSGB graticule to work on Opera. Bill.
