A quicker way is to use a URL like

http://maps.google.com/maps/mpl?moduleurl=http://www.geograph.org.uk/stuff/gmapplet0.xml%3Fv=1

then you can just increment the v=1 in the URL to force the maps
server to fetch the latest file (providing your server ignores it ;) -
easier than continunully going round in circles 'adding' mapplets (for
me anyway)
