I attempted to do so, here's the code that I tried:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
//<![CDATA[
var map;
var icon = new GIcon(baseIcon);
icon.image = "http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mapfiles/ms/micons/
blue-dot.png"
var marker = new GMarker(point, icon);
var geocoder;
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That gave error: On Line 13: Error: 'baseIcon' is undefined
******
I also tried "
icon.image = "http://localhost/custom_" + type + ".png"
and "dealer" is a type that I have set and I have an icon labeled
custom_dealer.png Either one gives the error on Line 13: Error:
'baseIcon' is undefined
