I ran into the same thing on my site today. Changing map.setMapType(G_SATELLITE_TYPE); to map.setMapType(G_SATELLITE_MAP); Not sure why G_SATELLITE_TYPE couldn't be aliased to G_SATELLITE_MAP but as a developer I'm sure there must have been a good reason. Overall, Google API have been remarkably stable and provides functionality I wouldn't have otherwise. Keep up the good work. As long as I can Google the error message and get an answer I'm happy.
