Perhaps this will provide the impetus they need to become even half-
way usefully complete :)

Not according to the OS, one point is enough:

"Simply put, Ordnance Survey derived data is any data created using
Ordnance Survey base
data. For example, if you capture a polygon or a point or any other
feature using any
Ordnance Survey data, either in its data form or as a background
context to the
polygon/point/other feature capture, this would constitute derived
data."

Whether they'd bother persuing you for just a few points is a
different matter, but certainly OS think it's against Crown Copyright
to publish just one point derived from OS mapping.

It's about time this whole thing was sorted out properly.
