If you're just using CSS to define the style associated with that class, 
then that should work.

If you're trying to use ThickBox, then I suspect that it crawls the DOM 
looking for Elements that have class="thickbox" when the page initially 
opens. When you subsequently create a new Element with class="thickbox" 
you'd have to somehow inform the ThickBox code that it needs to re-crawl 
the DOM.
