Things are changing pretty fast in the world of Google Maps. That book was published in July 2006, but was presumably written some time before that, since it uses API v1 syntax.
Version 2 of the API uses zoom levels in the opposite order, which is more sensible since it allows deeper zoom levels to be added without using negative numbers E.g. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=37.422,%20-122.084&t=k&z=22 A book that teaches you API v1 syntax is pretty useless these days. -- http://econym.org.uk/gmap The Blackpool Community Church Javascript Team --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
