That's weird! I have tried this on both my PC's and I even get the effect in IE6. Until I hover over the one permanent link in the sidebar, the checkboxes only display the markers, not the sidebar entries. But once I have hovered, the checkboxes then work perfectly, populating the sidebar as well as displaying the markers at will. As I said, truly weird. Does your set-up have anything special?
