Thanks. I thought by this the sample would get some better insight into 
the purpose of adjust.js, but I didn't. I still have neither a clue, 
what all these parameters mean, nor in which context the library would 
be of help. On the other hand I recognize some well known Mercator 
patterns, so probably this is yet another, probably optimized "convert 
from geo to image coordinates and vice versa" lib. I regret, I can't use 
it, because I don't understand it from the information available.
