I am a newbie to programming. I am planning to set up a city guide for my place. I would like to display the side bar entries as displayed in this site http://mapmash.googlepages.com/citysearch.htm . I think we can get these dropdowns using javascript as shown in http://www.bitrepository.com/demo/dynamic-dependent-dropdown-list-2/ . but i need to know how do the entries below the dropdown appears. does they use an xml file ? if so are they using any kind of queries to get entries from the xml file? Is there a single xml file or one for each category... Awaiting reply....breaking my head and system for the past 10 days for solution...!!!!
